Checklist for presentations

Behaviour:
- Know what you are talking about
- Check in advance with the technical people what system they have and you can use
- vShow up as early as possible to confirm its working. Make yourself look competent.
- Set up an account on your computer that you use only for presentations.

Physical:
- two printouts of your materials. When doing a decisive presentation to an important client give them the printout with space for their notes.
- laptop, charger, power adapter if abroad.
- cellphone that can be a wifi hotspot
- long hdmi cable.
- hdmi to vga/DisplayPort adapter.
- laser pointer.
- dry erase markers
- When you are somewhere with high heat and/or humidity bring a spare shirt.

Data:
- file saved on hard drive, in cloud and on memory stick.
- have the presentation saved in different formats: PPTX, PPT, ODP, PDF, each slide individually in JPG.
- have a separate saved copy of any videos/audio embedded in your presentation on the same device that has your presentation.
- Create multiple versions of your presentation. Some with the videos, some without. Some formatted 16:9 some 4:3.
